Reiki, pronounced “Ray – Kee”, a Japanese word that translates into universal life-force energy, also known as spiritual energy. ‘Rei’ translates as soul or universal wisdom; higher intelligence, source or God. ‘Ki’ is life force energy which flows through all living beings.
Reiki is a gentle and relaxing form of energy balancing, harmonizing and healing. The reiki energy stimulates the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It’s a holistic pathway for stress management, pain alleviation, and promotes relaxation and a calming effect on the mind and body. The healing energy is guided by your highest self and flows for your greatest good. It is directed to the areas in your body to begin or continue its natural healing process. Depending on your healing journey – this may start with your thoughts or emotions, physical pain you are feeling due to an injury, or perhaps help with anxiety and those pesky negative beliefs that may be manifesting physically in your body over time. This holistic practice addresses the ‘whole’ body; the mind, body, emotions, spirit, the aura and the chakras. It helps clear and balance any blockages aligning the energy pathways to allow the life force energy to move freely throughout the body. This is a non-invasive practice that promotes peace, calm, and relaxation.

Reiki is high vibrational energy that has the power to flow through anything – including walls, stones, landscapes, and mountains! Reiki treatments can be done in person or through distance. Either way, the recipient will receive the benefits regardless of their physical location.
Reiki Sessions with Latitude Wellness
In person reiki treatments are 60 minutes in length, depending on your needs. Clients typically lay comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed. Reiki energy flows from my hands into the client with my hands placed on or near the body following a sequence of hand positions. Before the treatment begins, we will take a couple of minutes to share anything that is happening in your mind/body/life and set an intention. There is also time available following the session to discuss anything that comes up for the client.
60 minute in person reiki sessions are $111.
Distance reiki is also available. Sessions are approximately 45 minutes. Distance reiki works just as well as if you were receiving in-person reiki. It is a great way to receive all of the beautiful calming and stress reducing benefits that reiki provides. You don’t have to do anything but be open to receive. The session begins with setting an intention and a short meditation over the phone. From there, the client relaxes into their space and receives the energy. Like many forms of holistic healing, Reiki is a beautiful way to address the whole self. Reiki does not replace any traditional modalities of healing, so it’s recommended that clients continue their regular medical treatments by a licensed health care professional.
